Bennett Office Technologies offers anti Spam and email anti-virus protection, hosted at our location, with the use of a Barracuda Spam Firewall. Bennett provides this service free as part of our commitment to bring you the best internet service available.

This service is private and secure. The junk email and email anti-virus protection is an automated process and DOES NOT slow delivery time of email messages. Nobody has access to your email except you. Nobody will read your email. Your email is not censored, YOU control the filter settings.

Here is a Brief Overview of the Filtering Service:

1. When your service is activated you will be sent explicit instructions on how to access your Bennett Office Message Center, including a login and password. It is best practice to change this password at your first login.
   
2. Your email is directed to Bennett’s Barracude Spam Firewall, where it is analyzed and filtered for you.
   
3. Suspicious email is kept in your Bennett Office Message Center (it does not arrive at your computer's inbox) for 30 days, after which it will be automatically deleted. Think of this as a quarantine area, located on remote server. In your Bennett Office Message Center you can read the quarantined email online, delete it, or deliver (forward) it to your inbox. You can login to your Message Center at any time by visiting http://spam.bennettoffice.com
   
4. You are able to "block" senders by adding them to your blacklist; meaning email from them will always be filtered. Or you can "approve" senders by adding them to your whitelist; meaning their email will always be delivered.
   
5. These services are completely controlled by you, and can be modified or cancelled through the Bennett Office Message Center Control Panal at any time.
   
6. You will receive weekly emails from Barracuda Spam Firewall as a reminder to check your quarantined email messages.
