With three salespeople working out of their home offices across the US, Valley Industries was experiencing a communication barrier between their customers, the home office, and remote employees. Brian Savage, owner, recognized a need to tie everyone more closely to the main office. That became the prime motivator to upgrade their Toshiba Phone System to have VoIP capability. FROM: JUGGLING CUSTOMER CALLS

  • At times it took multiple phone calls between multiple phone numbers to track down remote salespeople.

A Conservative Investment

Due to Toshiba’s strategically developed ‘Migration Strategy’, Valley Industries was able to maintain their initial investment of their Toshiba phone system by making just the necessary upgrades to achieve IP capability.  

Because Toshiba strategically designs each new phone system to include components of previous systems, their customers have an opportunity to enjoy the convenience of new features, such as caller ID, call waiting, unified messaging, auto attendant, or video conferencing on an ‘as needs’ basis, without loosing the initial investment of their telephone system. For Toshiba customers upgrading to new phone features becomes less about price and more about gaining functionality.
