FROM: JUGGLING CUSTOMER CALLS
- At times it took multiple phone calls between multiple phone numbers to track down remote salespeople.
- Salespeople had to be in the office to retrieve voicemail.
TO:SEAMLESS COMMUNICATION AMONGST ALL
- Incoming calls can follow salespeople anywhere they go, with no long distance charges.
- The ability to check voicemail via email on a computer or mobile device.
- Eliminating long distance calls between offices.
- Everyone communicating as if they were in the same building, including paging, call conferencing, etc.
Benefits:
- Eliminates long distance charges between offices, whether making an office to office call, transferring a customer call, or placing an outbound call to the local area of a remote location (as the call is routed through the remote location and placed as a local call).
- Improves customer service, as staff is able to transfer customers to remote employees seamlessly, providing them with what they need, when they need it for superior customer service.
- Improved Productivity when everyone can work as if there were under the same roof.
A Conservative Investment
Due to Toshiba’s strategically developed ‘Migration Strategy’, Valley Industries was able to maintain their initial investment of their Toshiba phone system by making just the necessary upgrades to achieve IP capability.
Because Toshiba strategically designs each new phone system to include components of previous systems, their customers have an opportunity to enjoy the convenience of new features, such as caller ID, call waiting, unified messaging, auto attendant, or video conferencing on an ‘as needs’ basis, without loosing the initial investment of their telephone system. For Toshiba customers upgrading to new phone features becomes less about price and more about gaining functionality.
Tangible Experience:
Brian Savage says laughingly “the problem is, now it is too easy to get a hold of us, they can even overhead page us from Oregon.” “Next I want to add an IP phone at my lake cabin so that I can enjoy a few long weekends this summer.”
