Today Microsoft will be releasing update 1703 for Windows 10. This update deemed the “creators update” has been very popular in industry reviews. We are excited for this update, but as with all major updates we are hesitant to release it automatically. We have decided to delay the update at this time, to allow for greater testing within the Windows community. We are delaying this process because it is likely that after its release, there will be changes made to improve it. The good news is that unlike the last release (1607), most software companies are ready for this update, and we anticipate less compatibility issues. We expect to release this update in the next 2 weeks, however if you are running Windows 10 and would like the update sooner please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org for processing.
If you would like more information about 1703 please click here. If you have not explored Windows 10, you may want to soon as the security features available will not be coming to previous versions. Although they have not received much press, the security changes in 1703 and 1711 are very exciting, as they come with little user impact while still securing the device.
